I promote the use of washable menstrual products as they do not pollute the earth or your body. Did you know the absorbent gel used in many disposable pads is left over from the agricultural industry, highly toxic. Many trees are used in the production of the wood pulp inserted into many types of disposable pads. Washable cloth pads are soft and comfortable, they do not get thrown into land fill tips sites and take over a 100 years to break down. They are clean and safe, and the water you soak them in before washing in your machine can be used as fertilizer on your pot-plants and garden. Ancient woman have always considered Menstrual blood as Sacred, and by giving it back to the earth you are thanking Nature for all she has provided for your survival. It is a gratitude filled ritual to return your blood to the Earth
